Talking about the history of Bir, it is a place that was ruled by the Pal dynasty, belonging to the Chandravanshi lineage. But they were stopped to rule for the murder of their King RaizadaPrithi Palby his father in law Raja Sidhi Sen from the Mandi kingdom. In the history of this town, a new chapter began with the establishment of Tibetan monastery in the 1960s. This all began with the coming of Neten Chokling. He was an incarnate lama of the Nyingma family of Tibetan Buddhism.
