It is located towards the northern side of the Chapora river. It leads towards the trail on the coast to arambol. The beach is known for its enchantingly white sand. The seaside is calm and quiet. The Arabian Sea waters are a beautiful turquoise blue. When the tide is high, it flows down to the Mandrem creek. The creek runs parallel to the main water line. There are abundance of the palm trees and the coconut trees at the coastline. A rocky cliff separates it from the arambol beach.
Apart from a beach that offers great solace to those who prefer the peaceful quietude, the beach is just great if you want to spot crabs, herons, turtles, kingfishers etc. The beach is pristine and ideal to perform yoga or enjoy cocktail.
