Talpona is a small fishing village located at an offbeat location at Canacona, Goa. It promises a calm and quiet beach to the visitors who look for a vacation away from the daily noise and the routine disturbances of the metropolitan cities.
Talpona is a pristine beach, not visited by many. The shoreline is stretched upto a kilometer. The sand is a beautiful golden. And there are swaying pine and palm trees. The beach just looks gorgeous. The calm Arabian Sea with the beautiful sea shells and the deep blue waters is simply serene.
Tourists began to visit the beach since a couple of years only. So, all the Talpona beach can offer is the beautiful sea, the pristine sand and the wonderful aquatic marine life that inhabits the blue waters. There are no seaside amusements.
But it is highly pleasant to watch the variety of the sea birds around the Talpona River that flows down into the Arabian Sea. Moreover, woods surround Talpona on all the sides except the one occupied by the sea.
