Accommodation and Food
There are ten tent shaped cottages all with the bathing facility and 24 hours of electricity sourced from solar lamps. Spending night in those tents is truly amazing, and the air you breath is pure and refreshing. Talking about food, you can have some delicious food in both vegetarian and non-vegetarian in Gazebo. It is also known as Gol-Ghar due to the shape of the house that is Gol means round. Having your food beside the campfire is an experience to remember.
Tips for Visiting Galibore Fishing Camp
The magic begins when the monsoon arrives. However, once the water reduces, you can find the sandbank left behind. Spend some good time with your friends or alone as it is utterly relaxing. The perfect time to visit the camp is from September to February as the climate is amazing and it’s the time to see the migratory birds.
How to Reach Galibore Fishing Camp
It is located at a distance of 110 km from Bengaluru via Bengaluru to Kanakapura route. Once you reach the 2nd circle towards Sangam, the camp is about 9 km away from there. Avoid using public transport, instead, hire a taxi.
